Sigh, men.

I got free gas and a discounted pressure washer from Home Depot because I acted helpless and dumb. Why do men continually fall for this act? And why do I not feel guilty about using it?

As he slowly explained how to screw the hose into the machine, I nodded my head like, OH! is that how you turn clockwise?!? He asked if I thought I would be able to remember to turn the switch to "on" before I pulled the motor cord. I replied that I hoped that I would.

He asked if I had a gas can at the house to fill it up, I replied, it needs gas?!? He filled up the tank and told me to make sure not to open the cap. Then stated, that if I needed more gas to bring it back to him. After all, he didn't want me trying to fill it by myself.

I mentioned that I wish I could find some one to clean my patio for me but all the people I talked to were SO expensive. He applied his discount because I had to do all the work by myself.

When I brought it back he asked if it worked ok. I told him it was very difficult and I didn't think I got the job done within the four hour rental period. He told me to come back again next week and he'll let me borrow it without charge. Gee mister...that would be swell.
