I had run into someone the other day who also knew a baby named Zane. After she threw the comment out there she followed it with "but sadly she didn't make it". I said, "I'm sorry", and the lady said, "yes, she died from SMA." I left the conversation at that and we talked about other things.
Later, I went home and let my fingers do the snooping because I wanted to know who this Zane was and why the sadness.
